2017 Easter at PonderVille...

We had a blessed Easter Sunday, celebrating with family at PonderVille.

Addi Kate couldn't wait to hunt for Easter Eggs.

She's a little rabbit herself...she loves eating carrots out of Pops' garden...

With a mouth full of carrot, she's posing with her Pops!

Addi gave Mikey this big egg filled with Mikey's favorite...CANDY!!!

These two are going through their eggs to see how much candy and money they found!

Me and my girl...

Our sweet family of THREE!

This little girl had a great day...hunting eggs, playing with her cousin, and applying " make up" at her vanity...

And D-ma surprised her with this pretty marrying dress...such a little princess!

From our family to yours...Happy Easter!

2017 Easter Morning...

The Easter Bunny arrived this morning with lots of goodies for Addi Kate. While he brought the traditional Easter basket stuffed with candy filled eggs, he also brought a few different items this year.

The Easter Bunny had a water theme this year and brought Addi Kate this swan for our pool....

I'd say she liked it :)

He also brought this pink kiddie pool filled with sand!!! It's like he brought the beach to the Knight Resort!

And the biggest surprise was our new pet, Prince Rudy!!!!

Dyeing Easter Eggs...

This year we tried a new of dyeing Easter Eggs. I saw on Pinterest how you could use shaving cream (or whip cream) and food coloring. So we gave it a try this year.

A little someone I know had a make up session before we dyed eggs...mascara and lipstick!

Addi enjoyed putting the food coloring in the s having cream and then swirling it around with a Q-tip.

Then we dropped the eggs in the muffin pan and let them sit for approximately 10 minutes.

They turned out pretty!!!

We are looking forward to the Easter Bunny's arrival tomorrow morning!

The Word of the Day is...

RESURRECTION!!!

David taught Addison the reason why we  celebrate Easter and it just melts my heart to hear her version of what resurrection means :)

Water Trick...

I saw the cutest video on Facebook of this older lady that played a trick on her husband and got it all on video. I showed it to Addison and she watched it about five times before saying she wanted to do the trick on Daddy. So we got home and practiced about TWENTY times.

Then when  Daddy got home from bowling...she got him! And she got him GOOD!

Way to go baby girl!!!!!

Water Girl...

I am so thankful that our little girl loves the water as much as we do. Although it's still a little too cool for the adults to go swimming, it doesn't stop the kids! We went to a birthday party for a special little friend and he had an outdoor water party! He had a blow up water slide, slip and slide, and a small portable pool.

Addi had a great time sliding alone AND with her friends.

She also had a great time in this little play house. Which made us realize that we needed to get busy with getting Addi's playhouse painted and fixed up for her to use.

Addi has also been enjoying getting in our pool. It is WAY too cold for us to get in...yet she swims and swims and swims.

She was a little nervous at first and wanted to use her floatie, but once she remembered how to swim, we had to MAKE her get some rest from going under the water.

Come on summer...our little water girl is ready for you!

Welcome Spring...

The weather outside has been so fabulous lately! Cool with beautiful clear skies and gorgeous sunshine. We had to take our holiday picture since I changed the chalkboard...

That baby girl of ours is THE most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on :)

But don't let that pastel pink gingham dress and big southern bow fool you...

She could spend all day in her panties playing outside!

Welcome Spring!

Pump it Up...

We've gone to a few birthday parties at a place called Pump it Up. Whoever came up with this idea, has a goldmine!!! Pump it Up is basically a huge warehouse with bouncy houses, slides, and a balloon house. I had no idea that they have Open Bounce Hours...so we took advantage of this a few times over Spring Break.

I was really surprised that Addison wasn't scared to climb all the way up the slides, not to mention slide down. But she LOVED it!!!

I definitely think the balloon house was her favorite though.

Thank you Pump it Up...you helped us have fabulous naps over Spring Break :)
