Rolling into 8

 It's that time again...BIRTHDAY TIME!

Addi Kate is rolling into 8!

Nutcracker 2020

 Jilly and I take Addison to see the First Coast Nutcracker every year and we hoped that this year would be the same. While we were so thankful that the theatres opened back up and we were able to see the Nutcracker Ballet, it was very different this year. 

Unfortunately they didn't have the Nutcracker Market before the ballet started. Traditionally we let  Addison pick out a new Nutcracker ornament for her Christmas Tree. So we'll have to double up next year.

The seats in the theatre were spaced out, due to COVID. So while we were able to sit next to one another, the seats next to us were blocked off. The ballet was shortened to an hour and the symphony was on stage instead of in the pit. 

And our annual picture in front of the Christmas tree was well...with us wearing masks!

Go away COVID!!!

Christmas 2020

  I hope and pray Addison is always this excited about Christmas. Her facial expressions on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning are just priceless!

Christmas morning was no different. Santa went all out  this year!

Santa brought Addi a softball net, a pink loveseat, and a hoverboard.

Two of her favorite gifts was this yoga sling. She has been on her sling non-stop since Christmas. 

And we have been SHOCKED to see how quickly she picked up on riding the hoverboard.

Ornaments

 We found another one of those spinning decorating kits. But instead of decorating Easter Eggs, Addi Kate is making her own Christmas ornaments.

Fun, easy, and super cool!

Now we need to stock up on ornaments!

Looks Who's Back

 This sassy girl helped us pick out our tree again this year!

She really wanted this one because it was just her size.

But we left with the big one!!

Thanksgiving 2020

 We had TWO Thanksgivings this year. We celebrated with extended family at their farm and then had a smaller more intimate Thanksgiving with our family. 

Hello pumpkin!

Addi was in Heaven with all the animals. Here she is petting the chickens.

But all she coudl think about were the horses!

After dinner she finally got to ride Ruby.

We got a surprise when Uncle Bobby walked in for our smaller Thanksgiving celebration. Here are all the guys...

And yes...she is swimming in November!

Turkey Cookies

 Thanksgiving would not be complete without some turkey cookies.

I've discovered that Trader Joe's has the best gingerbread decorating sets. We were able to find a gingerbread Haunted House and now Gingerbread Turkey Cookies.

Let the decorating begin...

I think Addi ate more of the icing than she put on the cookies :)

Fall Crafting...

 This girl loves crafting and creating just as much as her momma!

We were busy this fall making all kinds of crafts. We started off with a pumpkin pie felt banner.

I gave Addi all the supplies and she put it all together.

Complete with a whip cream topping!

It turned out so cute!

Then she made a Thanksful Tree with these leaf stickers.

Our Halloween pumpkin turned into a Turkey pumpkin...

She just poked these pieces into the pumpkin...

And voila...gobble gobble!

We had these felt turkeys, so Addi used some mini-clothespins and clipped them to some jute for another adorable banner.

And last but not least, family pilgrim hats!
