MORE Zoo Fun...

We made a trip to the Jacksonville Zoo during my Spring Break too. I knew it was going to be very crowded, but I had NO IDEA just how crowded. Well, let's just say that we were SO thankful that D-ma gave us a Family Membership for Christmas because we were able to bypass the lines to get in and go straight through the entrance to the zoo!!!!

We tried to visit parts of the zoo that we didn't see the last time, like the Stingray Exhibit. Addi was too little reach in and touch the stingrays, but Daddy was able to show her how to do it...

Unfortunately all the elephants were fast asleep, but we stopped by this elephant statue and took a few pictures. This is probably my favorite picture of Addison from the trip...

We put Addison on the carousel and she LOVED it!!!!

Unfortunately, she loved the carousel SO much that we were definitely not her favorite parents when it was time to take her off the ride :(

We are really enjoying our zoo trips and can't wait to go back.

Beach Bums...

We went on a quick trip to Destin over my Spring Break and took Addison to play in the sand, soak up the sun, and enjoy the beautiful beaches. We absolutely love the fact that Addison likes the beach and water just as much as we do!

We had lunch out by the water and took a few photos before heading to our room...

Isn't this view ridiculous!!!

We put on our suits and headed out for some fun and sun! Addi loved to dig in the sand and after getting over the shock of the FREEZING cold water, enjoyed splashing in the water too!

That evening we had dinner at our favorite Destin restaurant, the Crab Shack. Here is a before dinner pic of me and my girl!

The next morning we enjoyed more of the beach and took Addi to our favorite state park, Henderson.

Before we headed back to Jacksonville, we took this family photo that I will cherish FOREVER!

A Baby in a Bonnet...

I absolutely adore Addison's Beaufort Bonnet Company bonnet. And I SO wish she would stay a baby so she could always wear it...

I love my baby in a bonnet.

St. Patrick's Day...

I sure did feel extra LUCKY this St. Patrick's Day! I am on Spring Break and am able to spend every single day with Addison. Unfortunately the weather was nasty on St. Patrick's Day, but we made the most out of it inside :)

We started our morning with green pancakes and I would say that Addi Kate was definitely a fan.

We've also been working on showing her how to look for Easter Eggs and how to open them...the reason they are on the high chair :)

We've experienced our first skinned knew this past week...

Bless her heart, our pool deck is not very friendly when she falls :(

But she still enjoys playing outside, in the dirt, picking up rocks, etc.

Here is a comparison picture of Addison last year on St. Patrick's Day and this year...

Where in the world has the time gone???

I am one lucky Mommy and look forward to what the rest of Spring Break will bring!

Mommy and Addi Kate...

D-ma sent these two pictures to me and said that there is NO doubt that Addi Kate is my baby. Check this out...

I would have to agree!

Trip to the Beach...

It's been so long since I gave an update on Addi Kate's blog. We've been very  busy with work, family, and friends...but this week is my Spring Break, so I thought it would be the perfect time to catch up and share what Addi Kate and our little family of three has been up to.

We took a quick trip to the beach last weekend. Unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy forgot to bring the sunscreen :( so we didn't stay too long. But Addi loved it...

The water was VERY cold. But Addi didn't seem to mind...until her bottom got wet :(

We are so thankful that she's an "outside" kind of girl. She took off running toward the water when we set her down.

Hands down...her favorite part about the beach is the sand. She would have sat in the sand and played for hours if we would have let her.

We took the opportunity of taking some pictures with our girl...isn't this the sweetest picture? Love these two MORE than the world!

And of course I had to get a pic too :)
