Happy Birthday Addison 29-31 months

I have been so busy and absolutely forgot about updating Addison's blog!!! Bad Mom Alert!!!

So I'm going to play catch-up for a few weeks to ensure we have everything recorded.

Our baby girl is already 32 months old!!!! Here are her monthly photos from months 29-31...

She's always been beautiful to me, but she just keeps getting prettier the older she gets. That hair, those blue eyes, and that sweet little face...

2015 Memorial Day...

We hosted a Memorial Day pool party for our family and friends this year. We had a FULL house (or yard/pool rather) and had a great time!!!

David spent the first part of the weekend getting The Knight Resort ready...

While we were working on the yard, Addi was playing on the steps of the pool with a flag. We turned around and she looked like this. 

Brings a whole new meaning to Land of the FREE!!!!

She enjoyed her patriotic lollipop...and I mean REALLY enjoyed :)

And then she ended the night in her patriotic pajamas...

Water, water, water...

It really is amazing at how much this little girl loves the water. She enjoys swimming, putting her face in the water, floating in the pool, building sandcastles, jumping waves, looking for pirate ships, chasing seagulls, fishing, and of course going FAST on the boat.

We hope she never loses her love of water.

Happy Birthday Addison: 25-28 months

I just looked back through my blog posts and realized that I never posted  Addi Kate's 25-28 birthday months...bad Mommy :(

So consider this a BIG birthday post!!!

We have really enjoyed watching Addison grow, learn, and explore. I think she will ALWAYS be an "outside" girl as well as love being in the water. She enjoys wearing her floaty in the pool and most recently started putting her head under water and holding her breath. We are really hoping that she'll be swimming by the end of the summer!

Her vocabulary is OFF THE CHARTS and I couldn't even begin to list all the things she's saying right now. She is saying complete sentences and has started repeating EVERYTHING we say. I did want to note that she can sign her colors (blue, orange, brown, purple, black,white, pink, red, yellow, and rainbow), she can count to 10 (she tries to count to 20, but can't seem to get all the numbers from 11-20 in the correct order...AND my favorite number by far is eleven-teen), she sings the days of the week, she sings Do Re Mi, and has started singing Happy Birthday for each person that has an upcoming birthday.

Addi has learned how to ride her tricycle and scooter and will make endless laps around the pool. She loves water balloons, coloring (with markers only), singing on her microphone, riding her pony (who is named Lucky), reading books and her Bible, checking the temperature and ears of all her dolls (and her family members too), shoveling rocks, and giving Snoopy lots and lots of hugs and kisses. 

Addison wears size 3t clothes...although she isn't quite 2.5 yet. Her hair is the prettiest that I've ever seen. It's still as blonde as can be and has gotten quite long. She has started watching Dora the Explorer, Mickey Mouse, and Tom and Jerry. She can dance like it's going out of style and her favorite songs to dance to are Taylor Swift's Shake it Off and Katy Perry's Fireworks.

We are really struggling with getting her to eat more vegetables...although she does like carrots and cucumbers. If we would let her, she would eat only meat, cheese and fruit each meal. 

Addison Kate...you are silly, sassy, and SMART!!! 

Mommy and Daddy love you MORE THAN THE WORLD!

2015 Mother's Day...

 I can't even begin to share the love that I feel for the little girl that made all my dreams come true. It amazes me how the one holiday that I dreaded for years has turned into the one holiday that I look forward to now.

We had a blessed Pre-Mother's Day with my mom, Jilly.

We cooked lunch and just hung out in the pool.

On the actual Mother's Day, we spent the day at the beach...

This little girl would play outside and in the water ALL DAY LONG!

We followed up the weekend with a pedicure...I'd say Addison enjoyed it :)

Blessed...truly blessed. 

Addi Kate Meets the Mouse...

We took Addi Kate on her first trip to Disney! She was the best little traveler, enjoyed all the rides (especially It's a Small World and the Carousel), and never once complained about the heat, walking or waiting in lines.

She was all smiles for the entire trip!

Another  favorite was Cinderella's castle...

And of course we had to get Addi her first Mickey Mouse hat...

The look on her face when she met Mickey was absolutely priceless...

She also loved meeting Ariel...

She talked non-stop about the fireworks...and still today asks if she can see the fireworks at  Cinderella's castle...

I would definitely say it was the BEST DAY EVER...
