Pumpkin Patch 2015...

We took Addison to Connor's A-maiz-ing Acres again this year. She really enjoyed the rides, the animals, and ALL the pumpkins!

This year we went through the corn maze...it was long, but fun!

Addi's grandparents joined us this year, so we had to get a group family picture to mark the occasion!

Addi was amazed at all the pumpkins...they had SO many to choose from.

She is TOO cute for words :)

I would have to say that riding the horse was her FAVORITE part this year too. She just loves horses!

This year the helmet fit her a little better, but was still a tad too big.

We let her ride the horse without Daddy's help this year. I was a nervous wreck thinking that she might fall off, but she did a great job!

This gives me an idea for her birthday party...more info on that later, wink wink!

We rode on the cow train (this is where we got the idea for last year's elephant train for her 2nd birthday party).

I love this sign...and the little girl under it :)

And I just had to end this post with a comparison picture of Addison at the pumpkin patch last year and this year.

What a difference a year makes!!!

Time PLEASE slow down!!!

Halloween 2015...

We had a great time trick or treating this year for Halloween. We did our traditional hayride with Jilly, Pops, D-ma, and our neighbors. But first, we had to decorate our pumpkin! Addi Kate is really into painting right now, so we let her paint her pumpkin this year.

I think she did a pretty good job with her light pink, hot pink, and green paint...

My little artist...

Addi dressed up as Snow White this year. She was the perfect Snow White (except she has blonde hair)!!

Although she did throw a little fit when she saw our neighbor dressed up as Cinderella :)

Our little family of THREE!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Birthday Addison: 33 and 34 months

I am behind AGAIN on posting to Addi Kate's  blog. But thought I'd spend a few weeks catching up on all the FUN we've been having.

First, let's start with her 33 and 34 months photos...

This little girl LOVES flowers and LOVES picking them too :) She is able to have full conversations with us and knows what she does and doesn't like. We start potting training during this month and she has done a great job.  For some reason she doesn't like the regular potty...I think it's the sound of the toilet flushing that scares her, but she is a pro at using her portable Minnie Mouse potty chair from D-ma.

Her HAIR!!! I absolutely love love love her gorgeous blonde hair. I also can't believe how long and pretty and it is...I always dreamed I'd have a blue-eyed, blonde baby girl. God sure did show up and show off with Addi Kate! We are looking forward to all the Christmas celebrations this month, we have lots in store for this sweet angel of ours!

Happy Birthday sweet Addison. Mommy and Daddy love you MORE than the world!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween...

We took Addi to Disney again, but this time for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween! We had an absolute BLAST!!!

Addi wanted to be a "wicked witch" but unfortunately it was pretty hot in Florida, so she only wore her costume and hat all of 45 minutes.

She enjoyed Mickey's Philharmagic show again this time and tried to grab all the items flying around...

One of Daddy's highlights on this trip was Addi's love of roller coasters. We road Goofy's Barnstormer at least three times...

Mommy's highlight of the trip was watching Addi in amazement of Cinderella. I mean look at this sweet girl's face as she is looking at Cinderella...

One of Addi's favorite Disney movies is Tangled and she couldn't wait to tell Rapunzel to "let down your hair!" But as you can see in the picture, she got a little shy and didn't say a word :)

We just recently watched Tinkerbell and explained to Addi that she lights the castle up each night at Disney...

Again, more carousel fun...

One of the last things we did before we left was ride the Seven Dwarf's roller coaster. Addi called a tummy tickler :)

It truly is the most magical place!

Happy Birthday Addison: 32 Months

This month Addi Kate turned 32 months. It is SO crazy how grown up she seems to us right now. She has full on conversations with us (and herself sometimes). She can say the Pledge of Allegiance, the months of the year, and can even count in Spanish (1-6).

She dances NON -STOP!!! I am so ready to enroll her in dance classes. She loves princesses...Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Ariel, Merida, and of course, Elsa and Anna. She likes to draw, paint, and create things with playdoh.

Here is Addi saying the months of the year...

Addi loves the park, especially the one in St. Augustine with the carousel.

And I just have to mention her hair...it is still as blonde as can be and gets prettier and prettier...

Addi still loves ALL animals...

And we've learned that she has her Daddy's sensitivity to smells. She's started telling us when she doesn't like the smell of something and her nose is OVERLY sensitive. Like when we went to the petting zoo and she caught a small of the chickens...

I still get tickled when I see this picture!!

Addi is at least 38 inches tall and continues to grow like a weed...

It's amazing how lucky we are. God really showed off with this little one!

Happy Birthday Addison Kate!

We love you MORE than the world!

I Pledge Allegiance...

Since Memorial Day we have been working on teaching Addi Kate how to say the Pledge of Allegiance. It only took about a week and now she has it down pat. It's amazing how fast she can say it :)

Every time we see a flag, Addi recites the pledge...smart AND patriotic!!!

Big Girl Bed...

So we finally made the move...we changed Addi Kate's bed to a toddler bed!!!

She was THRILLED!! She jumped on her bed, read books in her bed, and even fell asleep pretty easily the first night.

The first night she slept until 1:30 a.m. and then she made her way into our room. But not until she found a green sharpie, and wrote all over her legs, her  face, AND the wall!!!

Oh my...not sure we are ready for the big girl bed!!!
