Summer Camp and I'm Sorry...

Addi Kate completed Summer Camp this week. I love how her school teaches the students about a different country each week. Addi learned about Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, Egypt, Brazil, India, Greece, and the good ole US of A.  At the end of camp they gave her the cutest little passport that highlighted what she liked most about each country.

I can't wait to pull this out when she gets her first REAL passport and compare it :)

Addi's school also had a ceremony for Happy Feet...a company that comes in and teaches the kids how to play soccer.

Our little girl got a medal and a certificate for her hard work learning all about and playing soccer.

When Daddy picked her up on her last day, we learned that she made an "ugly face" at her teacher. So we had a LONG conversation about always respecting her teachers. We also helped Addi write an apology letter to her teacher.

Lots of lessons are being learned...some fun and some not so fun!

First Jags Game...

Addi Kate attended her first Jags (practice) game this past week. This was also the first time she has ever been inside the stadium.

It was HOT but the stadium was pretty empty, so it was nice for her first visit.

After the game they had a fireworks show...

And I think Addi enjoyed that part too!

Great night...go Jags!

Evil Like Addi Kate/Maleficent...

Addison has a love for Halloween just like her Mommy does. So every summer we start brainstorming and planning out her costume. This year, since she's in love with the Descendants, we've decided she'll be Maleficent.

I absolutely adore the fluffy collar...

But the glittery horns are my favorite!

Thanks Kristen Chenoweth...my daughter wants to be an evil queen :)

Beach Day...

We haven't been going to Hanna Park this year as much as we did last year.  But, the times we have gone has been LOTS of fun...well, at least until the storms blow in.

We took a Mommy-Daughter selfie while Daddy was picking up the ice.

When we got to the beach, Daddy found this sand dollar floating in the water.  Unfortunately when he picked it up it crumbled into four pieces. But I managed to piece it back together for a photo.

This little one loves to play  in the sand...

And she also loves to play with her big cousin :)

We are hoping to squeeze in a few more beach days before we head back to school.

South Florida Vacation...

We went on a five day family vacation to South Florida last week. We first stopped in Islamorada  and stayed the night on a friend's boat. He had a center-console that we were able to take to a local restaurant for dinner and the sunset pictures we took were amazing.

We had a very relaxing time in Islamorada...no time limits, no make-up, just us and our bathing suits.

We then headed to Key West for a few nights. But we had to stop and let Addi take a picture at Knights Key :)

In Key West we went on a sunset cruise, ate delicious seafood, listened to great music (while Addi Kate danced) and took our picture at the southernmost point.

We then traveled to Bonita Springs and stayed at THE MOST coolest hotel in Coconut Point. It had two adult water slides, one child slide, and a lazy river that we probably floated on 100 times!!

Overall it was a great five days and much needed time to be with just the Knight Family of three!

Snapchat...

I guess I've been under a rock lately, but I finally downloaded the Snapchat app on my phone. No surprise, but Addi Kate is in love with it. She will go through the different filters one by one, take pictures of herself, and laugh uncontrollably. Here are a few photos we've taken...

This donkey picture had us CRYING!!!

Mommy and me...

We even got Pops in on the action!

And Jilly too!

Addison LOVES the Snapchat filters with makeup...so obviously she adores this one!

And can you even believe we got Daddy in a few pics too????

Good times!

Happy Birthday Pops...

We celebrated Pops birthday this week! Addi had a special message for him that morning...

That evening we took Pops and Jilly to a new Asian Street Fare restaurant and it was YUMMY!

Jilly and Addi enjoyed Pops' birthday dessert :)

It was a fun day! Happy Birthday Pops!
