1st Nutcracker Ballet...

Jilly and I took Addi Kate to her first Nutcracker Ballet this year. I dreamed of this day and it was even better than I ever could have imagined.

The ballet instructor at my former school is the Artistic Director for the First Coast Nutcracker and gave us fabulous tickets to the matinee. So all three of us got dolled up and took a few photos before we headed out the door.

We also took a picture in front of the beautiful tree at the Florida Times Union Performing Arts Center before the show.

We had excellent seats, thanks to Ms. Rhonda!

Here is Addison patiently waiting on the show to begin...

Right before intermission it SNOWED!!!!! Addi Kate was beyond thrilled!

I wasn't sure anything could top the thrill of seeing and touching the snow, but Ms. Rhonda invited us backstage to meet some of the ballerinas...including Addison's favorite, Clara!!!

Clara was one of my former students at LaVilla and gave Addison the royal treatment. I know Addi felt SO special!

Again, I can't even begin to express the overwhelming joy Jilly and I felt on this very special 1st Nutcracker Ballet with our sweet Addi Kate!

Random Pretty Christmas Pictures...

I took a few random pictures during December and couldn't resist sharing them since they turned out so pretty.

Here is Addi Kate after we made some Christmas cookies. Can you tell she was proud of her baking skills???

We finally had our first fire of the season...so I took advantage of the photo opportunity!

Jilly and Pops have two cats at PonderVille and now they have a few kittens :) Addi Kate is in LOVE with the kittens. Unfortunately, Kodi would not be happy if we brought one home!

Merry Christmas! It's definitely the most wonderful time of the year!

Tree Art 2017...

One of our Christmas family traditions is decorating our Christmas tree canvases. 

Addi was especially excited this year since she is VERY much into art.

She mod podged herself this year...

And she was pretty proud of her decorating skills!

Daddy thought he would be funny this year and poured ALL the decorations on his canvas...

Missy Mistletoe, Week 3...

Missy had some special lessons for week 3!!!

Missy was holding on tight to her tire swing rope this morning...which is exactly how Mommy and Daddy have felt this past week!!

Day 16 was a special day for Addi, Mommy, and Jilly. We took Addison to her FIRST Nutcracker! I'll post about this later, but it was the best experience ever.

Missy brought her elf friend back from the North Pole this morning!

Missy couldn't have said it better...Addi Kate you bring us PURE joy!

I love how unique and expressive Addison is...she is definitely a unicorn in a field of horses!

This is a great reminder Missy...Moana knows what's she talking about! 

If you've ever seen Addi Kate "perform" you would definitely agree with Missy. I am pretty sure our little girl is going to be a star someday!

We just a few more days left with Missy! I wonder what her final lessons will be for 2017!

Missy Mistletoe, Week 2 Lessons...

Missy had a lot of fun lessons for Addi Kate this week...

Princess Poppy and Addi love to sing, DANCE, and hug!

Coloring, drawing, and painting are three things that Addi Kate could do for HOURS! Looks like Missy enjoys painting too!

Our family in Texas had snow this year! We got to see all the cool pictures of the ground covered in snow, small snowmen, and just all around fun in the snow. Addi Kate kept asking when we would have snow in Florida. So Missy brought us a little treat the next morning from the North Pole...SNOW

It really hasn't been cold enough for hot chocolate, but Missy and Ramsey brought us some anyway :)

Missy showed up this morning in full Wonder Woman costume AND she was flying!!!

We all love the water around here...including Mermaid Missy, Prince Rudy, and Nemo.

Missy ended our week reminding us that "we wouldn't have anything if we didn't have Addi"....in the words of Mike Wazowski, of course!

Missy Mistletoe 2017...

She's back!!! Missy  Mistletoe our elf is ready to teach Addi Kate new lessons before Christmas...

Like every year, Santa dropped off Missy and left us a note to remind Addi Kate about Missy's purpose and rules to help her keep her magic. Missy also brought along with her our Christmas tree canvases!

Addi has been super excited about getting her ears pierced this year, so it was only fitting that Missy showed Addi her new earrings!

The Polar Express is a great movie to remind Addi that she must BELIEVE!

That silly Missy...she loves chocolate covered donuts WITH SPRINKLES just like Addison!

This year Missy brought a new friend to meet Addi Kate...her pet reindeer, Ramsey.

She's been walking around with this new "friend" just like Jilly holds her dog, Presley :)

Missy loves Mexican food just like Addi Kate loves her chips and salsa!

Maleficent was a huge hit for Halloween this year...so Missy decided to join in the fun!

I wonder what lessons Missy will teach Addi Kate next week?!?!?
