Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party...

This was our first time to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We have gone to the Not So Scary Party several times and I was skeptical that ANYTHING could be better...but I am excited to share that Disney at Christmas is even more magical!!!

She was thrilled to have her BFF, Roni Lynn, ride with us to the Happiest Place on Earth...

When we arrived, we were excited to learn that we would receive free cookies, hot chocolate, and apple cider all night long!

Addi couldn't wait for Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride...Roni Lynn? Not so much :(

I had a great time with my girl on the Haunted Mansion ride...

We made our way to Main Street to see the parade and the snow!

Addi and Roni Lynn wrote Santa a special note...

After the parade we rode more rides...Dumbo was first on the list!

Then we headed back to Main Street for a beautiful shot of the castle...

Playhouse Update...

 The guys finished the paneling, flooring, added an outdoor light, AND the loft!

The next step is finishing the trim, painting, and then I get to decorate!!!! 

Playhouse Progress...

Two years ago, we bought Addison a playhouse for Christmas. Unfortunately we've done absolutely nothing with it since then. So this year we thought it would be a good idea to finish the interior and surprise her for Christmas this year.

Daddy and Pops have done a great job and have worked on it almost every single day. Here is the progress so far...

They put insulation in, an AC unit, and bead board on the ceiling.

The next step was paneling on the walls.

I picked out the prettiest little chandelier...

Next will be the loft :) I can't wait to see how this looks once we are finished!

1st Nutcracker Ballet...

Jilly and I took Addi Kate to her first Nutcracker Ballet this year. I dreamed of this day and it was even better than I ever could have imagined.

The ballet instructor at my former school is the Artistic Director for the First Coast Nutcracker and gave us fabulous tickets to the matinee. So all three of us got dolled up and took a few photos before we headed out the door.

We also took a picture in front of the beautiful tree at the Florida Times Union Performing Arts Center before the show.

We had excellent seats, thanks to Ms. Rhonda!

Here is Addison patiently waiting on the show to begin...

Right before intermission it SNOWED!!!!! Addi Kate was beyond thrilled!

I wasn't sure anything could top the thrill of seeing and touching the snow, but Ms. Rhonda invited us backstage to meet some of the ballerinas...including Addison's favorite, Clara!!!

Clara was one of my former students at LaVilla and gave Addison the royal treatment. I know Addi felt SO special!

Again, I can't even begin to express the overwhelming joy Jilly and I felt on this very special 1st Nutcracker Ballet with our sweet Addi Kate!

Here is Addi Kate after we made some Christmas cookies. Can you tell she was proud of her baking skills???

We finally had our first fire of the season...so I took advantage of the photo opportunity!

Jilly and Pops have two cats at PonderVille and now they have a few kittens :) Addi Kate is in LOVE with the kittens. Unfortunately, Kodi would not be happy if we brought one home!

Merry Christmas! It's definitely the most wonderful time of the year!

Tree Art 2017...

One of our Christmas family traditions is decorating our Christmas tree canvases. 

Addi was especially excited this year since she is VERY much into art.

She mod podged herself this year...

And she was pretty proud of her decorating skills!

Daddy thought he would be funny this year and poured ALL the decorations on his canvas...

Missy Mistletoe, Week 3...

Missy had some special lessons for week 3!!!

Missy was holding on tight to her tire swing rope this morning...which is exactly how Mommy and Daddy have felt this past week!!

Day 16 was a special day for Addi, Mommy, and Jilly. We took Addison to her FIRST Nutcracker! I'll post about this later, but it was the best experience ever.

Missy brought her elf friend back from the North Pole this morning!

Missy couldn't have said it better...Addi Kate you bring us PURE joy!

I love how unique and expressive Addison is...she is definitely a unicorn in a field of horses!

This is a great reminder Missy...Moana knows what's she talking about! 

If you've ever seen Addi Kate "perform" you would definitely agree with Missy. I am pretty sure our little girl is going to be a star someday!

We just a few more days left with Missy! I wonder what her final lessons will be for 2017!
