Camping Day 2...

Day 2 was just as much fun as Day 1. But we started our day off with a visit to the Fort in St. Augustine.

We had a great time exploring and learning about the history of St. Augustine.

Watch out...Addi is behind the cannon!!!!

We followed that Fort visit with another trip to the beach. The wind wasn't so bad, but it was definitely pretty chilly. But our little mermaid didn't seem to mind...

We ended our evening the same way as the day before...walking down the river, watching the sunset, eating at Aunt Kate's but we took lots of cool tree and sunset pics first!

This tree was low enough that Addi could climb on it...and she LOVED it!

The sunset pics were so beautiful...our little dancer showing off her passe'!

And how sweet is this little bow-headed girl?

We had a great time exploring and having family time. Until next year...

Camping Day 1...

We took Addison camping in North Beach...which is only about 30 minutes from home. She was excited to do something different (although we took her camping when she was five months old).

It was SO windy and cold, but again, the beach was glorious!

And Addison was so excited that she decided to throw seashells like confetti :)

After the beach we enjoyed the heated pool at the campgrounds...well, Addi enjoyed the heated the pool...it was still way too cold for the adults :)

I was glad to see that she remembered how to swim. For that matter, she jumped in the pool over and over and over again for a good hour.

We also enjoyed the cool play ground at the campsite. The trees were gorgeous!

Each night we would clean up, enjoy a stroll down the river, watch the beautiful sunset, and eat dinner at the local restaurant, Aunt Kate's.

Looking forward to the rest of our camping adventure!

2018 Easter Bunny Visit...

We took Addi Kate to see the Easter Bunny again this year. We arrived right when they opened so we didn't have to wait in a long line.  Addi did a great job patiently waiting on him to arrive...

And her face was priceless when he walked up...

I'm so glad we have been able to take her Easter photos with the same Bunny since she was born...

And OH MY GOODNESS!!! Why does my baby look so grown up???? Sweetest little girl ever!

Spring Break 2018...

This is the second year in a row that we've kicked off Spring Break with our friends, the Tiptons. They rent a condo in Jax Beach each year and we spend the day playing on the beach, swimming in the pool at the condo, and spend at least one night with them.

The weather started of great, but then after a little rain, it cooled off quite a bit. The beach still looked GORGEOUS!

The cooler temperatures didn't seem to phase the kids at all. They played in the water, looked for seashells, and built sand castles on the beach.

The next day we took Addi Kate, RoniLynn, and cousin Mikey to Pump it Up for some bouncing fun!

The open jumping session only lasts for an hour and half, but I think the kids could have spent all day there.

Addi has really gotten good at the obstacle courses and I've watched this video a million times...she is so funny and keeps us in stitches!!!

Lots more fun planned for the rest of the week!

St. Paddy's Day and Spring Break...

We kicked off our Spring Break with a visit from the Leprechaun. Although our trap didn't work this year, he did leave Addi some fun surprises...

I think she liked her new bathing suit the most!

We have lots of outdoor fun planned for this week, but first we will visit the park.

I hope Addi Kate ALWAYS loves to swing. That smile could surely brighten any room!

We also started a new adventure this year...SOCCER!!! Unfortunately it rained on Monday night which was to be Addi's first practice, but Daddy is working hard to get her ready for her first game.

Hello Spring Break...we are SO excited you are here!

Family Visit...

Addi Kate's great grandmother, Mother, and great aunt, Angela, came to Florida for a quick weekend visit. Addi Kate had a great time painting, cooking banana pudding, making silly faces, and overall just spending time with family.

Addi was pretty proud of our banana pudding and I would have to agree, it was DELICIOUS!

We spent a lot of time just relaxing outside with the beautiful weather...

And of course, silly selfies with Aunt Angela are always fun!

Group photos before dinner...

Followed by drawing with Mother...

Good times and great memories were made this weekend...

We love family visits!
