2nd Dance Recital...

Addison had a another great dance recital this year. She progressed so much during her second year of dance and had an outstanding performance.

We started off by attending the Recital Rehearsal...don't you love this sassy girl's poses?

We rented a room at the Omni again this year so we could just walk across the street after the rehearsal, take a nap, and then head back over to the Times Union Performing Art Center for the performance. Like last year, we invited family over to help celebrate and wish our girl good luck. She loves getting all the flowers :)

Back

I loved Addi's costumes this year. But I think her tap costume was my absolute favorite!

I think we all would agree that our favorite part of the recital was seeing Addi Kate blow a kiss to the audience right before she exited the stage. She's too much!

Our family took a picture by the river after the performance...

And a little crazy face photo too...

Good job sister. We are so proud of you and love watching you become a beautiful dancer.

Kindergarten...

I can't even believe I am typing this, but Addi Kate will start Kindergarten this school year!!

So of course I'm already in over-planning mode :) We've already gotten her a lunchbox, some school supplies, and a backpack.

We've actually gotten TWO backpacks just in case this one is a little too big for her. But I absolutely love the mixed patterns on this one.

We also participate in the Kindergarten Round Up at her new school a few months ago and I can already tell that Addison is going to love her new school!

Now we wait to hear who her teacher will be...of course the suspense is KILLING me!!!!

VPK Graduation...

Addi Kate did a great job at her VPK Graduation ceremony. She has been practicing for this event since January and it was definitely worth every second.

We started off the morning with some pictures at home...

We also got Addi a few little gifts to celebrate her graduation...

A bracelet and a necklace...

Off to the graduation ceremony!!!!

Addi and her classmates said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang two different songs...

The World is like a Rainbow and the Florida Alphabet...

After the ceremony we had some photobooth fun!

Addi had some great teachers this year. Here she is with Ms. Kadey.

Ms. Jennifer was her summer school teacher last year...

But Ms. Vanessa was her favorite! She taught Addison so much this year and we are so thankful for her.

Addi made lots of really good friends this year and I hope that some of them follow her to Kindergarten next year.

So proud of our girl!

Final Soccer Game and Party...

We wrapped up our first season of soccer. While Addi didn't score a goal, she learned a lot about soccer, made some friends, and got her first trophy.

We learned that Addi isn't too aggressive. So while she would run about and down the field, she didn't charge the ball and stood back while her team mates kicked the ball.

She did love her new friend, Laila. Her mommy was the coach, Coach Sarah.

Those two were inseperable and as you can see by the next picture, they spent more time hugging and playing with each other, than playing soccer :)

After their last game, we headed over to  Coach Sarah's house for a pizza party.

The team had a great time and LOVED their trophies!

See you next year soccer!

Dma's Birthday and Memorial Day...

We had a busy Memorial Day weekend. We started off with celebrating Dma's birthday at Daruma's.

Watching the cook is always FUN!

The next day we went to Aunt Kim's for Noah's graduation party. This was also the first time that Addi Kate got to meet Layla and they had a great time together.

They played at the park and were inseparable!

That evening Addi Kate joined me at my school's 8th grade dance. This was the third year in a row that she's gone with me.

And after watching this video, you can see why she loves it so much...

The next day we just hung out and relaxed by the pool on Memorial Day Monday. But first, SnapChat filters :)

It was a busy but good weekend. We are blessed for sure!
