Christmas Day 2018...

This was our first time to have a slow and relaxing Christmas morning. We didn't have anywhere to be nor where we expecting company until later that afternoon. So we had a great time as a family of three waking up to see what Santa brought, opening gifts, eating breakfast and just playing with Addison's toys.

Addison must have been on the Nice List this year!

He brought her a desk and her own laptop!

And her first bike WITHOUT training wheels!

And here is the face again :)

One of her favorite gifts was this microphone with LED lights!

Later that day, we had our family over for food, drinks, and fun! Addi Kate loved spending time with her cousins Litsa and Eleni...

After everyone went home, we opened gifts with Jilly and Pops...

The next day we went out to PonderVille for one last Christmas.

The face...

Addi Kate received her first REAL watch...a Snoopy Timex, of course!

What a blessed Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2018...

We returned to Florida just in time to celebrate Christmas Eve at D-ma's house.  After looking through our pictures, I'd say that Addi Kate had a fabulous time. Not only did she get play "Santa," but she was SHOCKED by all her gifts!

It didn't matter what the present was, she made this face EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Oh the excitement of Christmas :)

Celebration of Life...

On December 16 we received the news that Addi Kate's great grandfather had passed away. While we were so terribly sad to hear this, we were comforted knowing that he lived a full and prosperous life. To celebrate his life, we took a trip to Texas which also gave us the opportunity to spend time with our Texas family.

Addi Kate was able to meet some of my cousins that she's never met before. She adored Tiffany and spent lots of time playing games with her...

We were also able to meet up with Mother one morning and spend a little time with her...

And yes, that is chocolate on Addi Kate's chin :)

Addi Kate had a fabulous time playing with her cousins Jordyn, Bella, Ellie, and her newest cousin, Harley. Would you believe that Ellie and Addi's birthdays are just one day apart?

Sweet cousins...

Addison enjoyed spending time with her Aunt Lisha too. They put on lotion and painted their fingernails.

We were able to make a stop to see Addi Kate's other great grandmother, Memaw, and her uncles Jeff and Andre. But unfortunately, I don't think we took any pictures.

While the trip was unexpected, we were glad to have the time to spend with family and to celebrate the life and legacy of our grandfather, Harley D. Ponder.

Gingerbread House...

D-ma gave Addison a gingerbread house this year. Addi Kate had a great time putting it together and of course, eating some of the treats!

Addi Kate was super proud of her work!!!!

2018 Christmas Tree...

We took Addison to pick out our 2018 Christmas Tree. We go to the same place each year and Addi enjoys running around the tree farm, dancing to the Christmas music, and playing in the lights while we wait for them to prepare our tree.  Here she is at the tree farm...

We came home and got to work putting our tree up...

We had to take a pic of our tree with the first fire of the season...

And this is by far, is my favorite view of the tree :)

Nutcracker 2018...

Jilly and I took Addison to see the First Coast Nutcracker this year. It was as beautiful as ever!

Missy started our day off with a little Nutcracker surprise...

Interesting story...on our way to the performance, just as we pulled up to the theatre, Addison got sick. Like sick ALL OVER HERSELF AND ALL OVER THE CAR!! Luckily we were at least an hour early, so we literally turned around, went back home, changed and came back :)

Addi was perfect after that!!!

What I loved about this year's Nutcracker is that Addison watched the entire thing! She didn't fidget, didn't get bored, but sat and watched every performance.

So fun!
