8 Week Ultrasound
Today was a great day!!
Not only did we see Baby Knight's heartbeat, but our nurse practictioner pointed out his/her eye sockets and arm buds. As if that wasn't overwhelming enough...we also got to see our baby MOVE during the ultrasound. We could honestly watch the ultrasound screen for HOURS!!!
The bigger portion in the sac (to the right) is the baby's head and his/her bottom is to the left. David took a video of the ultrasound today and when we got home from the doctor's office we must have watched it at least a million times.
We are blessed beyond measure and are overwhelmed with gratefulness for this sweet little baby.

More than the World
I love you more than the world.
This is a phrase that David and I use often...when we are leaving for the day, signing a birthday card, or on a spontaneous love note. We couldn't think of anything more appropriate than to use this special phrase as the title of this blog. A blog about an answered prayer...our baby.
We transferred three cleavage stage embryos on May 20, 2012 and discovered the sweetest pale pink line on a pregnancy test eight days later.
Our first BETA came back on May 31 at 88! We were pleasantly surprised to hear the results from our next two blood tests...505 on June 4 and 2325 on June 7.
We had a bit of a scare on June 10 when I discovered that I had been spotting. But the ultrasound that week showed a 6 week embryo with a little flicker (also known as the heartbeat).
Our 7 week ultrasound was one of the BEST days of our lives...we saw a STRONG heartbeat.
We are looking forward to our next three ultrasound appointments with our fertility doctor before finally moving to our OB.
It's pretty evident...we already love this baby MORE THAN THE WORLD!
