Beach Baby Continues...

This girl LOVES the water...I'm not surprised, since we both do too. And we have spent a LOT of time in the pool and at the beach already this summer. We are working on teaching her to swim and hope that she will be able to do it on her own before the summer is over!

We are in a stage that sunglasses and sun hats are cool now! So every time Addison sees her glasses or a hat, she puts it on...

She is obsessed with the waves at the beach and gets tickled every time the waves hit her feet...

We attended a pool birthday party of a friend, and Addi enjoyed swimming with the big kids and drinking her juice box :)

This picture CRACKS ME UP!!!!

Here is a pic of Addi with one of her sun hats...those lips!!!

I'll share a video of Addi swimming in my next post...it's the cutest thing ever!

July 4, 2014...

We had a great July 4th this year. We spent time with friends and family and of course, enjoyed every minute with our sweet little girl.

The week of July 4th, Addi Kate turned 17th months old...what?!?! Time is flying by WAY TOO FAST!

At 17 months Addi has an extensive vocabulary. She's added the following words this month...cheese, teeth, bubble bee, circle, poo poo, moo moo moo (for cow), thank you, bye bye (she has been waving for MONTHS, but finally says the word when she does it), and she sings e-i-e-i-o :)

On July 4th, we set up tents at the beach and invited a lot of our family and friends. We spent the entire day at the beach, swimming, playing  in the sand, and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Addi likes to do everything that Mikey does...so here she is playing with the flags in the sand...

We couldn't keep this girl out of the water and here she is with Aunt Bubbles...

And here are some random pictures of our gorgeous girl in her red, white, and blue :)

Hope everyone had a great July 4th!

Words...

Addi has started to say a few words and we finally were able to get them on video. She has been talking since she was only a few months old...but she is finally starting to put meaning behind the words and identify what each word means.

So far, she can say Kodi (this is her favorite word), bubble, Momma, Daddy, and pool. We are working on D-ma, Jilly, Pops, cat and dog, but she hasn't quite mastered those yet.

We were trying to get Addi on video again saying all her words, but she realized that there was a cute little baby in the  phone and had to stop and wave at her.

This video makes me laugh EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch it :)

Memorial Day and Birthdays...

We spent the last few weekends celebrating Memorial Day, D-ma's birthday, and Grammy's birthday. I wasn't kidding when I mentioned a few posts ago that our life has been busy!!!

I'm not sure where Addi picked up how to wave a flag, but ever since Memorial Day weekend, she's been wanting to play with this flag and waves it all around...

We took Addi to the park for a big 90 birthday celebration for Grammy. Although the weather was terrible and raining, she enjoyed running all over the park.

And did I mention that Addi LOVES Grammy?!?! Look at these sweet birthday kisses she gave her great-grandmother...

I hope she always has this love for people :)
