Hair Incident...

So we had an incident at school where Addi Kate cut one of her friend's hair AND she let the little girl cut her hair!!! Here was the text message that I received from Miss Hirst...

So I'm sure you can imagine my reaction!!! Not only was I upset that Addi Kate's hair was cut, but I felt so bad for the other little girl :(

Addi Kate lost her privilege of using scissors at school and at home for a while and we had a serious talk about ONLY cutting paper and NOT hair! A few weeks later we took her to see Ms. Bruna so she could fix Addi's hair. 

Luckily Addi's hair was long enough that we could cut 3 inches off and it still looks beautiful.

My goodness! She sure is adorable, but she can push my buttons!

More School Photos...

Addison has really enjoyed school. She gets up early with me every morning, gets dressed, eats breakfast, and is thrilled for Daddy to drop her off. 

We like to take pictures in the morning before school with sassy poses and Miss Hirst shares lots of pictures with us throughout the week too.

I sincerely hope Addi Kate continues to love school as much as she has so far!

Field Trip Fun!

Addi Kate went on her first field trip! The kindergartens got to see the "Three Little Pigs" production. She got all dressed up in her Bartram Springs spirit shirt!

Although Addi loved the performance, I think her favorite part was riding a school bus for the first time :)

She told me all about how she got to meet one of the three little pigs.

1st Day of Kindergarten...

I can't even believe that Addison is already in Kindergarten. Time is flying by quicker than I ever imagined it could! The night before her big day, we got all of her supplies together and read The Night Before Kindergarten before she went to bed.

Miss Hirst is her teacher this year and Addi Kate just adores her. Mommy and Daddy do too!

Miss Hirst sent us a picture of Addi and her classmates eating lunch in the cafeteria.

And this picture just melted my heart...can't you just tell that she LOVES school?

Trip to the Bahamas...

Our little family traveled to Paradise Island this summer and had a great time. It was a lot of firsts for little Miss Addi Kate. First passport, first flight, first suitcase, first time out of the country, first water slide, and first time to snorkel.
