Christmas Tree...

Addi Kate helped pick out our Christmas Tree this year. I must admit, it was probably one of the most PERFECT trees we've gotten so far. 

The place where we get our Christmas Tree each year takes your picture in front of the tree before they trim it. They also cut the bottom of the trunk, tie a string through it, and give it to the children. Addi likes to come home and decorate/color/paint the necklace.

2019 Thanksgiving

I forgot to post a few pics from our 2019 Thanksgiving. We stayed in Florida this year and celebrated with D-ma and our Uncles. 

D-ma made this cool turkey cheese and cracker platter :)

We enjoyed our low-key Thanksgiving this year. We watched football, talked, watched the kids play, and just relaxed...good times.

2019 Christmas Photos...

Addison's amazing Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Hirst, has taken up photography. So we had her take our family Christmas photos this year. She did a great job...AND had her first experience with a pet, since we brought Kadi Belle along for our photos.

These are the photos we didn't use for our Christmas Card so as you can see, she did an outstanding job.

I have no idea how any of these pictures turned out good because the winds were at least 30 miles an hour at the beach. 

This is one of my favorites...I love how the sun is shining on them :)

Kadi Belle did a good job too. Well...after she took off running in the water as soon as we got to the beach!

Wicked...

I took Addison and Mom to see Wicked! The Wizard of Oz is a favorite for all three of us, so seeing Wicked was a MUST. 

During the school day, the actress that played Glinda visited my school and held a master class with my students. So it was cool that I was able to get some pictures of her to show mom and Addi before they saw her on the stage. 

Here is my pretty girl right before the show started. 

Both mom and Addi loved it...but we made a promise to get seats closer to the stage next time. Addison's favorite part was when Glinda told the Wizard her name was "Glinda without the Ga!"

Gingerbread House 2019...

We are definitely a family that doesn't approve of Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving. But...I did break down and let Addison decorate a gingerbread house this past weekend.

I honestly think she ate more than she decorated :)

Someone else was hoping to get a little treat!

Thanksgiving School Luncheon...

Jilly was able to attend Addi Kate's Thanksgiving Luncheon at school.

Addison did share that now she likes dressing...but she has no idea what "real" dressing tastes like :)
