I've always dreamed of baby names. I can remember in high school imagining what I would name my baby one day. My parents used the same first initial for my sister and I, so it was a MUST that I did the same with my kids one day. So I created list after list after list with all the names that I really loved, both boys and girls names. No one would probably believe me if I share just how many lists and combinations of names I've saved :)
When David and I started trying to have a baby, the topic of baby names never really came up. I think we were worried that we would jinx ourselves if we picked out names for our children. And even when we finally DID get pregnant, it took us a while to start the conversation about names.
It was really important to me that we use a family name for our baby...I like names that are sentimental and have a special meaning. Unfortunately, all the family names that we like are boy names. So hopefully we'll be blessed with another baby one day and we'll save our boy name for our next little miracle.
For our baby girl, we decided to go with a name that we thought was pretty, feminine, and well...ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for our special baby girl.

We have chosen to name our gift from God...

Love the name! Addison is our youngest granddaughter's name and when we abbreviate it, we spell it Addi----no e.
Love that name! My oldest granddaughter is Addison and we call her Addy!
Love it! My oldest grandaughter name is Addison Renee and we call her Addy!
Cute! My mom's name was Mary Katherine but her dad hated the name Mary, actually didn't even know her mom named her that, and she was always called Kate. I have a very special grand-daughter who is Juliet Rebecca Katherine. The name Kate always is a winner in my book - even as a middle name!
Precious! ...can your hubby call my hubby?? I am 34 weeks preg and my husband says he "doesnt want to talk about names til we get to the hospital." HA! We are having a boy and since we have no other names, we will probably just name it after him, which I am fine with! ...though the lack of discussion ab it is totally stressing me out! I am excited for you and now you can get all things monogrammed for sweet baby girl! WAHOO!!
Love it!! That is seriously SO SO
SO cute!!

I love it! The combo of names is perfect. We have tossed around family names too for our kids. My brothers and I all had the same initials, until I got married anyway:)
I ABSOLUTELY love her name.
Beautiful! Addison is one of my favorite names! :)
♥
Great choice! It is beautiful! Thank you for sharing =D
I love the name Addison, in fact, I have my own Addison. My oldest daughters name is Addison Grace and she goes by Addie, although she on occasion corrects us and says "Addison." She is also a February baby, as is her baby sister who is only a year apart from her. Congratulations and I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes by smoothly.
