2014 Missy Mistletoe...

Our Elf on the Shelf, Missy Mistletoe, came back this year!!!

Our Elf is a little different than most...she isn't mischievous and doesn't play funny tricks on Addison. Instead, Missy is sent from the North Pole to teach Addi Kate life lessons and the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus.
Here is the letter that Santa sent Addison this year when Missy arrived on December 1st...

Dearest Addison,

I’ve enjoyed watching you from the North Pole and seeing you grow up into a sweet little girl. You are so special and I hope you know how much you are loved…not just by me, but by your parents and grandparents.

Since you have been such a good girl, Rudolph and I took a trip to Jacksonville last night and dropped off your elf, Missy Mistletoe. I hope you will take good care of her again this December.

Don’t forget these important rules:
1.  Do not touch Missy or her elf magic will disappear.
2.  Look for Missy each day and pay close attention to the special lesson she has to share.
3.  Remember that Missy’s goal is to teach you how to be more like Jesus.

This year, I’ve asked Missy to focus her lessons on the importance of family and home, speaking kind words, and doing nice things for others.

Missy asked that you, Mommy, and Daddy kick off her 2014 visit by decorating Christmas Trees she brought from the North Pole. I hope this will be a fun family activity for the three of you!

I look forward to visiting you again on Christmas Eve. Until then, take care of Missy and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!

Love,
Santa

I can't wait to share the other great lessons Missy taught Addi Kate this December!
