Last 6 Days of Missy Mistletoe...

Missy did a great job this year teaching Addison all about the true meaning of Christmas. Here are the final six days of Missy's visit this year...

One of Addison's favorite movies right now is the Wizard of Oz...so of course seeing Missy with Dorothy was lots of FUN!!!

I think Day 24 is always going to be our favorite day :)

Thanks for the lessons Missy Mistletoe! We can't wait until you come back next year :)

More of Missy Mistletoe...

Missy had more great lessons for Addi Kate this year. Here are the next six days...

I think Day 17 was a big hit with Addison. She LOVES to sing into a microphone and kept trying to take Missy's microphone from her :)

What will Missy come up with for the last 6 days of December?!?!?

Christmas Blessing...

Addison is truly a Christmas blessing!! Her little face is the sweetest we've ever seen. And she has the most adorable, loving, and silly personality of any little girl we know!! Here are just a few random Christmas pictures we took of our little miracle girl this holiday season...

Missy Mistletoe Continued...

Missy enjoyed her visit in  Jacksonville and continued to teach Addi life lessons and the true meaning of Christmas.

Day 7 was probably one of Addi's (and Mommy's) favorite days...

Day 9 was one of Daddy's favorites!!!

Day 10 was also a big hit at our house...especially since Addi likes to talk to her grandparents on the phone :)

Day 11 featured a bed that Addi's great-great grandfather made :)

I wonder what other lessons Missy will teach Addi this year?!?!?

2014 Missy Mistletoe...

Our Elf on the Shelf, Missy Mistletoe, came back this year!!!

Our Elf is a little different than most...she isn't mischievous and doesn't play funny tricks on Addison. Instead, Missy is sent from the North Pole to teach Addi Kate life lessons and the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus.
Here is the letter that Santa sent Addison this year when Missy arrived on December 1st...

Dearest Addison,

I’ve enjoyed watching you from the North Pole and seeing you grow up into a sweet little girl. You are so special and I hope you know how much you are loved…not just by me, but by your parents and grandparents.

Since you have been such a good girl, Rudolph and I took a trip to Jacksonville last night and dropped off your elf, Missy Mistletoe. I hope you will take good care of her again this December.

Don’t forget these important rules:
1.  Do not touch Missy or her elf magic will disappear.
2.  Look for Missy each day and pay close attention to the special lesson she has to share.
3.  Remember that Missy’s goal is to teach you how to be more like Jesus.

This year, I’ve asked Missy to focus her lessons on the importance of family and home, speaking kind words, and doing nice things for others.

Missy asked that you, Mommy, and Daddy kick off her 2014 visit by decorating Christmas Trees she brought from the North Pole. I hope this will be a fun family activity for the three of you!

I look forward to visiting you again on Christmas Eve. Until then, take care of Missy and remember that Jesus is the reason for the season!

Love,
Santa

I can't wait to share the other great lessons Missy taught Addi Kate this December!

D-ma's Retirement Party...

Your D-ma retired a few weeks ago and we had such a good time at her party. We ate, danced, and toasted D-ma for all her hard work and dedication.

Daddy had a one-man-band at the party and you enjoyed the music...

And even danced with your two great uncles!

It was a cold evening, but we stayed warm by snuggling and running around the marina...

Congrats D-ma...we are so proud of you!
